Beyond Baker Street - Casting and Crew Info Meeting

Beyond Baker Street is an immersive promenade theatre event - which means the audience will move around the performance space, interacting with the actors as they do so. The performance itself will consist of a number of ‘vignettes’, which aim to portray various episodes from the life of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (or his works, or the times he lived in more generally), all held together by an MC (or tour guide). We want to take the audience members on a journey with us - amazing, delighting, and surprising them along the way!

Excited yet? I hope so. We have a structure and outline for the event, and our plan is to develop the vignettes through a workshop-type process - allowing actors and crew to get involved in creating something amazing. To that end, you’re warmly invited to our first get-together for cast and crew - on Sunday 15th January, 3-5pm, at the Community Centre.

We need plenty of actors, musicians, light and sound technicians, props and costume makers, and much more. I honestly think this is going to be the most exciting project the Crowborough Players have ever been involved in. Please join us in making it a massive success.

I really look forward to seeing you on the 15th.

All the best
Ade Morris
Producer - Beyond Baker Street

PS - We’ll have lots of material to help with the workshop on Sunday 15th, but if you want to do any pre-reading on Conan Doyle, or indeed bring something along, please do!

PPS - Involvement for actors under-16 will be organised through What You Will Theatre. Have a look at their website for more details: www.wywtheatre.com
